Osram 64337-IRC-A6.6A / 48w / MR-16 Long Life / Fem connector 

The Osram 64337-IRC-A-48 watt MR16 type airfield lamp has a reflective infared coating on the MR16 capsule.

The coating reflects the infared light from the filament back onto the filament itself. This allows the filament to operate at a higher temperature which gives increased light output with no lamp power increase.

the lamp wattage can then be decreased and longer lamp life results. Lamp life for this lamp assembly is typically 2000 hours when operated at 6.6amperes.
