    High Intensity Discharge (HID) Mercury Vapor light bulbs are efficient and offer long life.

    Mercury vapor light bulbs are one type of high intensity discharge (HID) light bulbs. In addition to standard ED28 and ED17 bulbs, Genesis Lamp provides R30 and R40 model mercury vapor light bulbs for use in floodlights and spotlights.

    Mercury vapor bulbs are efficient and save on operating costs

    Like other HID light bulbs, mercury vapor light bulbs experience a color shift over the lifetime of the bulb. In the beginning they provide a bright white light, but over time this will shift to a yellower tint. Mercury vapor bulbs generally undergo a more dramatic shift than other HID light bulbs.
