L-861 Airfield Light Fixture Conversion Kit
Airports can now reduce their costs in two ways.
1. Reduce the number of airfield lamps used in the L861 fixtures and L-858 illuminated airfield signs by replacing 800 and 1000 hour airfield runway bulbs with 3000 Hour Genesis Lamp EXL and EXM airfield bulbs.
2. Significantly reduce the time between changing burnt out airfield runway bulbs through the benefits of an approximate 4 to 1 life ratio provided by the extended life EXL and EXM airfield bulbs.
The bracket assembly as shown consists of an aluminum bracket to which is fixed a quartz halogen tungsten GZ(GY)905 ceramic Bi-Pin socket with two mole terminals.
Two female connectors for the L-823 lead wire assembly of the L-861 fixture are also included. Average extended life is 3000 hours at 6.6 amp.
EXM airfield lamp is also shown on the bracket assembly. The ceramic Bi Pins socket is compatible with the standard EXL, EXM, EVV, EWR and EZX airfield runway light bulbs.
These airfields runway bulbs are used in L-861 and L-862 elevated airfield edge, taxi way, touchdown zone, and runway end fixtures.
The replacement assembly has been designed as a direct retrofit for the 6.6A/T10/1P 30 watt and the 6.6A/T10/P 45 watt incandescent airfield runway bulbs.
The 6.6A/T10/1P and 6.6A/T10/P rated at 800 hours lamp life at 6.6 amps are replaced by extended life 3000 Hours at 6.6 amps bulbs.
The extended life EXL and EXM 3000 hour airfield bulbs are available exclusively from Genesis Lamp Corp.
