There are three types of LED technology that are used in LED lights -- DIP, SMD and COB.

Dual In-Line Package (DIP) LEDs

Surface Mounted Diode (SMD) LEDs

Chip on Board (COB) LEDs

LED Brightness and Wattage

A 7- to 9-watt LED bulbs are equivalent to 40-watt incandescent bulbs (450 lumens emitted)

A 9- to 12-watt LED bulbs are equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulbs (800 lumens emitted)

A 12- to 15-watt LED bulbs are equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent bulbs (1100 lumens emitted)

A 16- to 20-watt LED bulbs are equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulbs (1600 lumens emitted)

LED Color Temperature

Kelvins (K) measure light temperature, or the color the light appears.

LED lighting technology is becoming increasingly popular in both commercial and residential settings due to its numerous benefits and advantages. LED lights are energy-efficient, long-lasting, cost-effective, environmentally friendly and require minimal maintenance. They also provide superior illumination compared to traditional lighting technologies such as incandescent bulbs.
