Description: Double rotating airport beacon. Standard unit emits alternate clear and green light beams, 6 or 12 rpm, 120v, 60hz

Construction: Cast aluminum or steel housing. Lensed on each end. Central light source. Mounted by vertical shaft on supporting base which houses motor and rotating mechanism. Each lens combination comprises 18 inch doublet (one clear and one green for normal airport use) and 36 inch clear outer lens assembly (including a 20 inch bullseye and 12 surrounding sectors). The central light source is 400 watt high output pulse=start metal halide lamp. P.E. control for obstruction lights either mounted on beacon or mounted remotely, which also indicate lamp failure, is available as an option. Metal Halide light source manufactured using FAA approved components. Eligible for A.I.P. funding
