McCarran Airport gets $7.5 million grant for tarmac improvements
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — McCarran International Airport will receive a $7.5 million federal grant to improve the tarmac area, federal officials have announced.
Charleston airports granted $15M for improvements
Charleston International and its two smaller airports will benefit from nearly $15 million in government grants. Four other airports in South Carolina will pick up a combined $8.3 million.
Ogdensburg airport getting $1.5 million for new approach lighting
Ogdensburg International Airport will receive a $1,534,000 federal grant to install a new approach lighting system for its runway. This funding is awarded through the AIP and is administered by the FAA. The AIP provides grants to public agencies for the planning and development of public-use airports that are included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS).
